  • Profile photo (uploaded by you)

Providing this information is necessary to create and manage your account and enable core app features.

  • Location data (only when the App is in use)

2. App Permissions (Google Play Console Disclosure)

RaahiOne requests the following permissions strictly for core app functionality, in compliance with Google Play User Data policies:

a. Location Permission

Purpose: To enable ride discovery, navigation, distance calculation, pickup/drop coordination, and safety-related features.

Usage: Location data is accessed only when the App is in active use and is not collected in the background without user action.

Disclosure: Location data is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.

b. Microphone Permission

Purpose: To enable in-app voice communication and calling features between drivers and riders.

Usage: The microphone is accessed only when the user initiates a call or voice feature.

Disclosure: Audio is not recorded, stored, or monitored by RaahiOne.

c. File Upload / Storage Permission

Purpose: To allow users to upload and update their profile photo.

Usage: Access is limited only to files selected by the user.

Disclosure: Files are used solely for profile identification and are not shared publicly beyond app functionality.

Users may deny or revoke permissions via device settings; however, certain features may be limited as a result.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Create, verify, and manage user accounts
  • Enable ride-sharing and mobility services
  • Distinguish between driver and rider roles
  • Facilitate communication via in-app calls, masked calls, WhatsApp notifications, or OTP-based verification
  • Improve app performance, safety, fraud prevention, and user experience
  • Provide customer support and dispute resolution
  • Comply with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

Your information may be shared only in the following circumstances:

  • With other users: Limited information such as name, role, and masked contact details to enable rides
  • With communication service providers: For OTP verification, WhatsApp notifications, call masking, and transactional messaging
  • With trusted service providers: Cloud hosting, analytics, and security partners under strict data protection agreements
  • With legal or regulatory authorities: When required under applicable law or government order

All third parties process data only on our instructions and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission where applicable

While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

You may request deletion of your RaahiOne account at any time by:

  • Using the Account Deletion option within the App, or
  • Contacting our support team via email

Upon successful verification, your account and associated personal data will be deleted within a reasonable period, except where retention is required under applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated within the App or on our official platforms, along with an updated "Last Updated" date.
